Who is Hisham Hafez?
Hisham Hafez is a post producer and video editor based in Cairo, Egypt. He cuts shows, ads, podcasts and documentaries from rushes to a locked export, and works as an assistant post producer on agency campaigns — most recently for Allianz Egypt, e& and Nissan Middle East at Good People Films.
What is the difference between the work he edited and the work he post-produced?
On the editing work the cut is his: he was the editor, or he assisted the lead editor. On the post-production work he was assistant post producer, moving footage, schedules and deliverables between the editors, the grade, VFX and sound without cutting the campaign himself. This site keeps the two apart on purpose rather than listing them as one credit.
